Day 5: Monday, August 27th
Objective: Prototype a messaging mobile app inspired by Facebook Messenger.
Design: I wanted my messaging app to be light and welcoming so I focused on a mostly white and light gray color scheme with pops of blue and turquoise. I broke out the messages, active members and groups into their own tabs to simplify the design. I still wanted to show active users within the messages section so that status is indicated by a blue ring around their profile picture. I also wanted the user to be able to write a message at any time so the "compose a message" button is fixed on the bottom right-hand side. When it came to the conversation section, I wanted to create a look of floating conversation bubbles.
